Ellen is the President of Carr Meeting Consultants; a company specialized in providing corporate meeting and event management services with integrated audio-visual production and support. Ellen brings our team an enviable range and depth of experience in meeting planning and production. She has over 10 years experience in the global incentive and medical meetings industry. Before launching Carr Meeting Consultants, she was president of Global Connections, a full-service medical meetings provider with offices in New York City. Ellen's extensive client base included pharmaceutical clients such as Parke-Davis, Ortho-McNeil, Astra Zeneca, AutoImmune, Bristol-Myers Squibb, SmithKline, Cleveland Clinic, RW Johnson Pharmaceutical Research, Pfizer and Medical Education Technologies. In addition she managed CME meetings for CoMed Communications, Intelli-Media, Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, Ross Products and BioSciences, a division of Edelman Communications. Ellen has organized client events at world congresses and symposia both domestically and internationally, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the European Arteriosclerosis Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Winter Skin Seminar on Clinical Dermatology, the Valley of the Sun Conference on Clinical Dermatology and the Drugs Affecting Lipid Metabolism (DALM) Conference. Outside the pharmaceutical industry, Ellen has organized and conducted client team-building, awards dinners, trade shows and unique special events for several global companies including Discovery Communications, Coca-Cola Corporation, Anderson Consulting, Seagram's and Toyota.
